Injustice

Injustice

(Also known as Better Life Ahead)
(Rich Mullins)

What kind of injustice did you ever find in Me
That made you chase after emptiness 'til you became empty?
Didn't I do you right? I led you out of darkness. I brought you into the Light!
Who was it threw the shadows over your eyes?
Why in the world would you choose to be blind?
When you, you've got a better life ahead if you'll turn it back to Me!
You, you've got to get it through your head before the truth can set you free.
You, you're gonna run until your half dead and wasted on the cheap side of life...
Buying into the devil's lies.....

Wasn't I like a fountain with more than coolness to offer?
The cisterns you're digging don't amount to too much.
They can't even hold water.
And did I bear you to be a slave?
And, did I leave you stranded so you could be somebody's prey?
Did I make all you do to prosper, so you could lay it to waste?
Don't you think it was time for you to pray? Because, you...
you've got a better life ahead if you'll turn it back to Me!
You, you've got to get it through your head before the truth can set you free!
You, you don't have to run until your half dead and wasted on the cheap side of life...
Buying into the devil's lies! And, you!

...If you'll turn back to Me!
You, you've got to get it through your head before the truth can set you free.
You, you don't have to run until you're half dead and wasted on the cheap side of life
Come back to Me, and I'll bring you life!
