Come On and Come Alive

Come On and Come Alive

(Rich Mullins)

So, now you're going down the highway trying to see the right way as you go.
Paying your taxes to Caesar; watching the Mona Lisas on the road.
And, you've two hands that were made for clappin'
Put together, and you'll see what could happen
If you ever should step into the Light.
And, there's so much that you need to be givin';
And, you know love is a sister to wisdom
And, a soft touch of that is what I need here tonight.
Offer the Lord all your praises; your brothers and sisters the embraces they so prize...
And, come on and come alive!

And, all that you're doin' do gladly followin' down on the pathway you chose to climb.
Patiently carry your burden. Take for your wings the Word, and don't get behind.
For, you've two hands that were made for clappin'
Put together and you'll see what could happen
If you ever should step into the Light.
And, there's so much that you need to be givin';
And, you know love is a sister to wisdom
And, a small touch of that is what I need here tonight!
Offer the Lord all your praises; your brothers and sisters the embraces they so prize...
And, come on and come alive!

And, the Lord bent down and He was lookin' round at the harvest...it was heavy now with grain.
And, He went to His people and He cried, "Who will be my servant?
Who will answer, "Use me Lord...here I am!"
Then, you'll go down on the highway trying to see the right way as you go.
...watchin' the Mona Lisa's on the road.
And you've two hands that were made for clappin'
Put together, and you'll see what could happen
If you ever should step into the Light!
And, there's so much that you need to be givin'
And, you know love is a sister to wisdom
And, a soft touch of that is what I need here tonight!
Offer the Lord all your praises, your brothers and sisters the embraces they so prize
And, come on and come alive!
